Ethiopia
October 2016
Our first trip took place in October 2016 in Ethiopia, at the Sidamo area. We travelled to the East African country during a period of political turmoil, which alone made the practical part of our trip more difficult.
We covered many kilometers by car on difficult roads until we reached the plantations, where we were shocked by the images of poverty and misery, which instantly turned us into parts of a life documentary.
Arriving at the plantations of the Sidamo area we were captured by the charm of the first contact with the trees, the coffee grounds, the harvest and the coffee processing. We kept the smiles and happiness of the young children, the love and hospitality of the natives and we returned full of images and concerns for the gap of social inequality.
