We arrived in Colombia during a rainy season, which is a characteristic of the tropical climate. The weather did not deter us from visiting farms, meeting people that welcomed us as if we were members of their family.
We visited the Caldas, Quindio and Tolima areas, where we learned a lot from simple cultivators. We witnessed their passion in producing the perfect coffee, a passion that is interconnected to their own survival.
We helped with the harvest under difficult circumstances in the rain, finally realising how much stife is behind a cup of coffee that we enjoy.
We strolled in Bogota, seeing a city of massive cultural and contrasting living standarts, we packed in our luggage the people’s passion, like we do on every trip, and we kept the scents of the wet ground, along with the coffee flowers while planning the trip to our next destination.
