Costa Rica

March 2018

Our Second trip was more organised, we arrived after almost a full day of travelling to San Jose, and after a short rest we drove to Tarrazu, an area that cultivates, like in every area of Costa Rica, select arabica blends, with Gheisha being the prevalent one.

We took part in harvesting, in flavor tasting procedures, people that live so far away from Greece but know and love greek culture showed us their hospitality, they have also named one of their cities Grecia, we saw farms that produce coffee for small production roasters that seek quality. We were astonished by the use of renewable energy sources at every farm and by the love for the environment. We left and kept unique images from the astonishing nature of the small central-american country.
